Co-founder of RISE, alongside Dr. Shameeza Khan.

I build the platform the curriculum is published on — this site, the teaching portal, and the infrastructure underneath both. The games are mine too: Qurʼan Adventure, Rise Words and Rise Timeline, and the platform that lets one sign-in cover all three.

I am a problem solver, and what I am usually solving is a support system — the thing that has to exist before somebody else can do what they are best at. That is what took me through filmmaking and non-profit work, and it is what this is: Dr. Shameeza writes the curriculum, and my job is that a teacher can open it on a Monday morning without having to think about any of the above.
